Our visit with Dee and the kids!

We had a wonderful time in Iowa recently visiting Dee, Gramma Reta and the girls...and meeting sweet Baby Josiah for the first time! He is absolutely a beautiful baby! It was pure joy to see little Lonia ....spunky and full of charm. She truly is a remarkable little angel. Every time we see her, we are reminded of how big our God is! The miracle of this little girl....what she has gone through....it is beyond words! She is playful, cheerful, loving and full of life! Her smile will make you melt! She loves her 'big sisters' Ashley & Kelsey and her 'baby brother' Josiah. They have so much fun together, and Ashley & Kelsey love her so much too, its so very obvious! As we sat & talked with Dee, and just played it all back in our minds, we are overwhelmed at what a miracle this really is! How many people God has brought together to make this all happen...the lives Lonia has touched, and she doesn't even realize it....SO AMAZING!

Dee is preparing to go to California in a couple of weeks for Lonia's last post-op appointment with Dr. Gates, before they all head back to Haiti. Thinking back....this all started almost a year ago.
