My friends, I sent this earlier without the pictures, sorry. Attached
are a few pictures. Sal

Dear brothers and sisters,
Greetings to all of you in the name of Our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We had a nice day yesterday. Today, we have another nice one. It is
even sunny. This brightens our faces. We can smile. We can laugh
again.
The majority of the people have already left the city. Some go to
Port-au-Prince, others go to Saint-Marc or Cap Haitian and a number of
villages serve as a welcome place for a lot of people as well. Some
vow that they will never set foot in this city again. Others
confidently say they will start all over again. Others with tears and
heart breaks do not know what to say still. They are watching the
course of events.
I myself am glad to see my kids with zest and joy in spite of the many
things they went through and they are going through. They smile
because last Tuesday at this time, they visibly saw death. It was
raging and rolling. They saw that death has claims many lives. They
saw that death has brought cries and tears in many faces babies,
infants, young and old. Thank be to God, we are alive and there is a
lot of work which needs to be done. We can sum them up in feeding the
hungry, give drink to those who are thirsty, clothed the naked,
rebuild the homes that are destroyed, restore other and preached the
good news to everyone who has not known HIM yet.
You have been with us in that endeavor since the beginning. The
present situation has called us to stick together and strengthen the
bonds to continue to do it and the situation has also called news team
members to join the team so that together we may win.
This morning we were at the campus of the school to assess the
devastation. It is a major one. We really do not know where to start,
but we will start soon.
Tomorrow, Lord willing, several of us will go to Port-au-Prince. We
hope to come with as much possible to save some. Things like water and
food and antitetanous serum among other things will make this first
package. We have a lot of people which are seriously cut: My dad
(Pierre-Jules, Jude (constructor), several other people need this shot
badly.

Micah is coming on Thursday as schedule. I wish I could keep him, but
his presence in the States will be a blessing for Living Water at
large and for himself in particular. Dad please send the detailed
itinerary of Micah so that we may know flight time and the like. We
will be able to withdraw money from bank, but not in Gonaives.
I am able to send e-mail from my house because my priority when the
hurricane hit us was the generator and the internet equipment. This is
why I can send e-mail. A gallon of gasoline cost 14 USD in Gonaives
today, but it's worth it.

We are doing well.
In Christ,
Salonique Adolphe
