Dee says Lonia continues to heal and do well...she is such a little trooper! She is improving each day and they are falling more in love with her! Dr. Gates and family have purchased a new home and they have all recently moved....Dee and the girls actually have their own 'guest' home that is unattached to the main house. Dee says its beautiful! The Gates' want to have the extra room to be able to help other missionaries and house them as well! Ashley has been taking ice skating lessons and doing great in school...she really loves her teacher. She says she would "like to box her up and take her with her!" Ashley is a wonderful student and makes good grades! Kelsey goes with the flow for the most part, and she is the MOST ADAPTABLE 3 yr old ever! Her life this past year has been a whirlwind...from the time she left Haiti..she has done so well, and is such a sweet little one...although she is really missing her daddy and anxiously awaits his arrival!!
Dee is doing well, her pregnancy is going fine...she continues to give of herself to these beautiful girls and she always praises God for every miracle that has happened right before her eyes! She speaks of God's overflowing blessings in their lives! She is so grateful for everyone's constant support and prayers during these past months. She has become close to the Gates Family and she has a deep appreciation and love for their selfless, generous, servant hearts. She says she looks forward to the day when "everyone involved can sit around and talk about what actually happened...God used SO many people to orchestrate this entire event!" She gives God ALL THE GLORY!!!
Now for more good news........WILCKLY HAS HIS VISA! Yeah! (That in itself has been quite an ordeal!) Now Wilckly is preparing to come to the States ! He really NEEDS A BREAK too! Lord willing, he should be here mid November to visit his family for just a short while.
SWEET! THANK YOU GOD!
Dee and the girls leave next Saturday from California to Iowa to stay through the holidays and for the birth of their baby boy. They will then return to California for Lonia's last Post Op appts. with Dr. Gates, before heading on to Haiti.
Please continue praying for the Dorce's and all that is coming up for them...traveling, healing, preparations, and raising financial support for their ministry. Thank God for their efforts and service. Thank God for His miracles, and praise Him for everything!
An author once said...."Jesus commanded the disciples not to take one more step in their ministries without the Holy Spirit's power. If they had, the results would have been disasterous..." Acts 1: 4, 8
Jesus' message---"Stay where you are until my Holy Spirit empowers you to move."
God SEARCHES for laborers who will simply let Him do His job through them as His vessels.
When you work for God, with your assignment comes the guarantee that you will be equipped for the job! 1 Cor. 12: 7
Thank you prayer warriors! Let us continue to lift up the Dorce's to our loving Father!
