This past weekend Dr. Gates and Beverly had a going away party for Lonia at their home. Friends from church, some of the doctors and nurses, staff and professionals of all types came who were connected with Lonia in one way or another. Tammy and Joe & Charlotte Tebo came from St. Louis too! The Gates' were gracious enough to let us stay in their home. We enjoyed our visit so very much.

Each person there had a story to tell about their connection with Lonia and how she has impacted them. We watched a slide show from when she first arrived to the present time. We looked at pictures and we had tears of great joy! We all have seen her come full circle. We remember how it all came about and what she has been through this past year. She is a story....she has a story....she is a MIRACLE...she demonstrates our loving Father and what He can do....she is special....she's our Lonia. We love her.
We rejoice....we give thanks...we give God ALL the Glory!
